Hi, I’m Marketa.
I help ambitious companies stand out.
I work on branding, brand strategy, and web design for early-stage companies as well as established companies. I especially enjoy projects in architecture, social and community areas and sports.
Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked across both product and brand design.
Which basically means I could say: I make things people like —and I make people like things.
I studied industrial design at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art and at Brno University of Technology. During my studies, I spent a year at Fachhochschule Salzburg focusing on product design, followed by a one-year work placement in Sydney, Australia.
My master’s thesis, a newborn incubator, was nominated for the National Student Design Award, and I received the title of Design Talent in the Industrial Design category.
Today, I work as a senior graphic designer and design lead in a design studio, focusing on brand identities. Alongside my practice, I’m involved in design education for children — leading workshops for schools and the public at the 8smička gallery and contributing to the educational platform Designeři Dětem.
We'll see where the next few years take me. One thing is certain, though—it will definitely be in the creative sector.
